When you travel from Delhi to Jhansi, there is a historical city called Gwalior in between. While going by train, the luxurious and grand fort of Gwalior is seen narrating its pride. The next station from Gwalior is Datia which is famous all over the world for its spiritual consciousness and Tantra Mantra. Beyond this is Jhansi, where you will find the glory of Rani Jhansi written on every wall.

If we go a little further in this sequence, there is a small town named Orchha. Orchha is a small but beautiful town situated on the banks of the Vetva River. There is a fort in Orchha. In front of the fort there is a magnificent historical temple of Lord Rama. Nowadays Sumit Orchha i.e. Sumit Mishra lives in this Orchha. Sumit Mishra is a staunch supporter of nationalism and is also devoted to the nation. You can clearly see this feeling in his poems.

His nationalist attitude of reciting poetry reflects the feelings of his heart. Poet Sumit Mishra speaks his mind through Ghanakshari verses and songs. Poet Sumit Orchha is also a best sanchalak.
