For the first time in 2004, a poetry program started on SAB TV, which became very popular, this program which lasted for a long time, many poets made their mark through it. Poetry reached home. The Kavi Sammelan, which was still in the reach of some people, reached the streets through TV, but in this whole process, a disadvantage was that the poem was reduced to humor. There was a demand for more and more comedy poets on TV.
After this, many more programs came on TV which were associated with Kavita and Kavi Sammelan. Almost everyone gained popularity and also gave a platform to new poets. A program (lapete main Neta ji ) has been going on continuously for the last eight years. And has its popularity. Apart from this, many more programs are constantly coming on TV. However, there is a big basic difference between the Kavi Sammelan to be held on an open platform and the Kavi Sammelan on TV. The Hasya kavi Sammelan on TV is twenty to forty minutes.
